Preparing My 2020 Mindset

Tips to your 2020 mindset to move you closure to your goals. Like many other people, I have been going hard with the new year. 9 miles of running in the past two days. Many tasks completed.

The biggest challenge I face is not starting my improvement, but continuing it. I have been focusing on this challenge for a long time. I read and write about it over and over again.

What I have come to realize is that the key to solving this challenge is clarity of vision along with building of habit. The great motivational speakers and authors have all said this, but I believe everyone needs to realize it in their own way.

The way I have done this is to create a daily schedule that covers all aspects of my life that I feel increase my overall wellbeing, and in turn give me the tools to accomplish my goals and fulfill my life’s purpose.

The schedule is regimented enough to keep me on track, but varied and open enough to keep enthusiasm and prevent frustration.

It is segmented with blocks of time given to multiple core aspects of my life in which to focus my time. These blocks are then used for multiple tasks which can be done at differing times based on environmental factors such as the weather, commitments, or other people.

The core aspects are as follows in order for my day: Mind, Body, Environment, Discipline, Recreation, Spirit.

By touching upon each aspect daily, I will be building the the habit of continuous improvement. I will keep a written copy of the schedule with me at all times.

With whatever task I may be accomplishing, a core aspect will always be improving. By remembering this, I will be keeping my vision and motivation throughout the day.

One of my most important daily tasks (which falls under the “”Mind” aspect) is journaling and writing of goals. This is the reason for the segment being listed first in my day. Writing my goals daily is the most important way for me to keep clarity of vision.

I believe by taking these steps toward better vision and habit, I will be able to more easily continue down my path of success. Hope you enjoyed my 2020 mindset tips.
